Benefits of TCU CEOThere are many different benefits to being a member of TCU CEO. The organization hosts a variety of events through which students can learn invaluable business lessons to apply as the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
Speaker events are open to everyone (members and non-members). Usually twice a month, TCU CEO invites a successful business entrepreneur to visit campus and share his or her insight into owning your own business and making it succeed. Many of these speakers are current CEOs of companies that they built from the ground up. The organization selects speakers from a variety of backgrounds, so that no matter what your major, there will be a speaker of your interest that applies to you and your future career. Past speakers have included Michelle Peluso (CEO of Travelocity) and Steve Smith (Serial Entrepreneur and donor of the Steve and Sarah Smith Entrepreneurial Hall). The dinner events are reserved only for TCU CEO members and are first come first serve. Dinner events are usually held about once a month, and allow students to experience the speaker in a more personal and interactive setting. A free meal is provided by the organization, and the students and entrepreneur are able to talk about business and their experiences without the confines of an agenda or large audience. These dinners allow students to get every question they have answered and allows them to run their business ideas by a successful entrepreneur.
